Throughout the day on 21 June, 20 headphones, provided by global audio specialist Sennheiser, will be installed in a Northern train carriage for listeners to experience The Stopping Train by Gavin Bryars and Blake Morrison aboard the Goole to Hull / Hull to Goole stopping service. 

Train times for the carriage are:

TST 2 0920 Goole to Hull, 0958 END Hull
TST 3 1018 Hull to Goole, stopping at Saltmarshe 1100 END Goole
TST 4 1517 Goole to Hull,1555 END Hull
TST 5 1825 Hull to Goole, 1900 END Goole
TST 6 2018 Goole to Hull, 2055 END Hull

For Yorkshire Festival 2016, two of the county’s most renowned artists, composer Gavin Bryars and poet Blake Morrison, joined forces to create a new work for the Northern train journey from Goole (Bryars’ birthplace) to Hull. You can download the audio for free until 16 July. Full details here.
